The transport of a small town like those of European metropolis
The small town is Mantua and the transports are those of the public service operated by APAM, the company of local mobility.
In the year that saw the city as the Italian Capital of Culture, the company's management chose to give a turning point to the usability of its transport: make it really efficient, really comfortable for both citizens and tourists.
Sustainability also passes by a greater use of public transport. But the increased use of public transport passes only if there is functionality. APAM and us worked on this.

Taking the example of digital services offered by public transport in the major European capitals, we have developed a new website for APAM.
We worked to make everything simple, to allow anyone - citizen or tourist - to find the correct route while walking around the city. Not just by entering the name of the stop (not everyone knows them) but simply writing the name of the street or even just the name of the point of interest: a museum, a church, a school, a pub, a restaurant. Everything.
Another issue of each potential passenger? The ticket. Where can I buy it? The site lists the nearest places using the user's location. The site also allows you to save your routes and then it communicates in real time any delays or unforeseen.
An evolved public service that makes life easier.
